Christopher Smith is a married dad of three. He is the author of Daddy On Board: Tales from the Front Seat, Volume 1 and is news editor at The Leaf-Chronicle in Clarksville, Tenn., where Daddy On Board has run weekly since May 2001.

Christopher Smith previously worked as a copy editor at The Tallahassee (Fla.) Democrat and at the Daily Home in Talladega, Ala. Christopher received a master's degree in English from Auburn University in 1996, his bachelor's from Auburn in 1991, and went to high school in Haddon Township, N.J., Class of 1987. He was born in Athens, Ala.
